Day 6 Shameless Audacity

“…yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.” Luke 11:8

I loved reading this day in Draw the Circle because we are reminded that 100% of the prayers we don’t pray won’t get answered. So guess what? Pray without ceasing and pray for everything big and small, especially the miracles because it is amazing to see God answer those!

You may be asking what “miracle” prayers are. Those are the things we ask God to do that only He can. Mark Batterson calls them the “impossible” prayers. He states, “It’s the impossible prayers that honor God because they reveal our faith and allow God to reveal His glory. And He doesn’t answer prayer just to give us what we want; God answers prayer to bring glory to His name.”

I know it’s hard to ask God for a miracle because logically it doesn’t make sense and emotionally we are afraid God may not answer and our hearts will be broken, but the answer isn’t up to us. Our job is simply to ask.

The greatest tragedy in life is the prayers that go unanswered simply because they go unasked. -Mark Batterson

What miracle are you asking God for today?

Prayerfully, Paige

  1. beginning to feel like my circle prayer to change my heart/head in some areas of my life is the MIRACLE prayer. Struggling a bit – but trying to plow through!

  2. TK, Look for God in your struggles. When we persevere WITH him to the other side of a miracle prayer, we are never ever the same. Roman 5:3-5 (and check out Day 8 tomorrow!)
